System Requirement

In order to read Chinese characters in this program and on the media reference websites, you will need special Chinese language viewing software. Appropriate software and installation instructions can be found on the following websites:

NJWIN (Recommended for Windows Users)

Elixir (Recommended for Mac Users)

After you have installed your Chinese language viewer program, you may be prompted by the computer to restart the computer.  After doing so, you must start the viewer for the first time from the Start Menu or your desktop.  The viewer must be set to GB code.  For additional instructions on setting the code, check the HELP Menu of the viewer.  You must run the Chinese language viewer program every time you enter the course. If you have properly downloaded and installed the correct browser and Chinese language software, you are ready to begin. Click Begin Course on the main menu.
